The huge rock in front of us is probably already familiar to everyone—it is the Sword-Testing Stone. On the rock below, there is also a pair of large footprints, said to be size 48. A crack runs right through the middle of the huge stone, as if it had been split by a blade, which is why it is called the Sword-Testing Stone. Legend has it that when King Mu of Zhou was pursuing and eliminating the Quanrong, he passed through Yixiantian. The Quanrong troops occupied the advantageous terrain of the second cliff ledge and used rolling logs and falling rocks to block King Mu’s army. King Mu stood below with his sword in hand, commanding his soldiers to charge upward. To intimidate the enemy, he struck the huge rock with his sword. With a thunderous boom, the giant stone split open. Seeing this, the Quanrong soldiers were greatly frightened and fled in panic, and the Zhou army won a great victory.
