Recently, the special science popularization project “A Geological Journey into Zanhuang” was officially launched.
The project mainly focuses on four aspects: the geological structure and evolution of Zhangshiyan National Geopark in Zanhuang County, the globally named Zhangshiyan landform and its four-stage evolution, historical culture and intangible cultural heritage, and ecological resources. It aims to improve the science popularization materials and tour guide system of Zanhuang Zhangshiyan National Geopark, enhance the park’s scientific value and educational function, and inspire the public’s pride in local natural heritage and awareness of protection.
