On May 11, Sun Zhiying, Party Secretary of Hebei Sport University, led a delegation to Zanhuang for an inspection visit and signed a university-local cooperation agreement with the county. Chen Hongfeng, Secretary of the Zanhuang County Party Committee; Lu Zhanjun, Deputy Secretary of the Zanhuang County Party Committee and County Mayor; and Wang Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Zanhuang County Party Committee, attended the event.
Sun Zhiying and his delegation visited Tiantai Lake Outdoor Sports Base, Zanhuang Elite Football Training Base, Changshou Island Science Popularization and Study Base, Yan Art Museum, and other sites. They gained a detailed understanding of Zanhuang County’s integrated development of culture, sports, and tourism, as well as project planning and construction, operation management, and industrial support facilities.
At the symposium, Lu Zhanjun signed the university-local cooperation agreement with Hebei Sport University on behalf of the county government.
On behalf of the Zanhuang County Party Committee and County Government, Chen Hongfeng expressed sincere gratitude to Hebei Sport University for its long-term care and support for the development of Zanhuang’s sports undertakings and cultural tourism industry. He pointed out that Zanhuang County has earnestly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statements on sports work, followed the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on accelerating the building of China into a leading sports nation, and relied on its own ecological resource advantages to build high-standard sports facilities such as the Youth Football Training Base and Tiantai Lake Outdoor Sports Base, laying a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation with universities. Zanhuang will give full play to its landscape resource advantages and firmly follow the path of deep integration of culture, sports, and tourism. Through university-local cooperation, the county hopes to upgrade all-for-one tourism through the improvement and empowerment of the sports industry, promote high-quality county economic development through integrated sports-tourism development, and make every effort to build a replicable and promotable model of university-local cooperation. He also required that designated personnel and dedicated teams be assigned to advance the agreed cooperation matters, refine cooperation plans, closely monitor implementation results, carry out all work in a solid and detailed manner, and promote the high-quality landing and development of premium sports resources in Zanhuang, effectively transforming the cooperation vision into practical development results.
Sun Zhiying said that Zanhuang has strong momentum for entrepreneurship and development, as well as firm determination to promote growth, which has laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two sides. The university will actively step out of the campus and move into the grassroots level, persist in deeply integrating sports research with athletic training, and apply professional academic research to Zanhuang’s frontline training grounds and industrial development sites. With professional research achievements and technical guidance, the university will empower and enhance Zanhuang’s development, effectively transforming its professional advantages into practical driving forces for local development. The university will make full use of its full-chain advantages in talent, technology, events, branding, and other areas, actively promote the implementation of key projects such as high-level sports events in Zanhuang, and work in the same direction and at the same pace with Zanhuang County to achieve mutual empowerment and win-win cooperation.
